The only thing we're changing is the InstallAnywhere script/wrapper for the console. The actual offending code is this:

if [ $linux_LD_ASSUME_KERNEL_hack -eq 1 ]; then
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL
fi

And all we're doing is preventing ld from getting an erroneous kernel version during installation. I'm positive that there are no linked library problems with these machines.PaulMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02530533566781746778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6690994337395244641.post-14865375461733530032007-11-16T08:48:00.000-05:002007-11-16T08:48:00.000-05:00Re: 1), are you sure you've got the libc libraries...Re: 1), are you sure you've got the libc libraries linked properly? Sounds like it could be a simple library linking issue. I would be hesitant to proceed after simply commenting the dependency out.s7stemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06645028934652862434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6690994337395244641.post-29699732319614414902007-11-15T13:05:00.000-05:002007-11-15T13:05:00.000-05:00Please elaborate.
